Best story from behind the wood | Probably when I failed to recognize Orlando Bloom at my bar in New Zealand and wound up sarcastically offering him a job as he was dressed almost exactly as the staff.
What do you collect? Wine
Favourite thing about your city? If you’re willing to embrace it, Dubai is amazingly diverse. The shopping malls, skyscrapers and 5-star hotels are far from the best thing about this city!
What was the last photo that you took? A snap of our cocktails at a rooftop bar in Hanoi, Vietnam that has a view of an 18th century church to one side and an 18th century Buddhist Temple in a lake to the other.
Where was your last vacation? Vietnam
Any claims to fame? Asking where I’m from only leads to confusion. By nationality I’m half Dutch and half Egyptian, was born in France, raised in Singapore & sound American/English/South African/Australian depending on who hears me.
Red or White? White as an everyday drink.
Cointreau or Grand Marnier? I don’t think they can be put against each other. Each has its merits.
