Best known for | Jungle bartending. I love using tropical ingredients (often foraged or freshly picked) and traditional remedies to work into my drinks. From learning how to make chicha with native Cabecar tribesmen to talking with the medicine ladies in the central market to learn about herbal extracts, I’m interested in modifying tradition to showcase local Costa Rican ingredients.

What do you collect? Mezcal
Favourite thing about your city? San Jose, Costa Rica is up-and-coming, so I love the rawness, art, and budding gastronomy scene that is popping up and that I am helping grow. I also love how sustainable Costa Ricans naturally are brought up to be which becomes a big part of the development of the city.
What was the last photo that you took? Churros and hot chocolate in El Moro, definitely worth a trip when in Mexico City!
Where was your last vacation? Osa Penninsula, Costa Rica.
