Favourite thing about your city? Toronto is a very subtle city. Unlike somewhere like New York that has such obvious beauty and culture, you have to go looking in Toronto. Mediocrity is quite present in this city, people still come to fuck up, that’s why everything closes in two years which keeps the city fresh; or rather, in a state of constantly being refreshed. I like the late-night camaraderie, the spoiling each other, the twisted people that work in the industry, and because of Toronto’s lack of real music or art culture (even what’s there is pretty bland), food and drink has become the dominant cultural movement in the city: there’s a scene. Like I’ve seen Matty Matheson eating in the same restaurant as Gord Downie and I think it’s hilarious that restaurant people get treated way better than the rockstars and the millionaires. I’m not sure if that’s my favourite thing about Toronto, but within the context of anyone on an industry website I think this is worth noting.
What was the last photo that you took? Probably of a wine label, if I get drunk but I drink something good, I want to make sure I remember it. Otherwise, I’m really not much of a photographer.
Where was your last vacation? Montréal
Any claims to fame? I’m pretty unextraordinary.

New Orleans or New York City? Never been to New Orleans, but I do love New York.
