Favourite at Home Drink | The same as after work… although I do happen to drink a lot of tequila and mescal at home.
Favourite bar in the world | This is a super difficult question. I’d have to go with Dead Rabbit in NYC.
Best known for | I believe that professionally I am known for creating cocktails with many ingredients and multiple levels of flavor and someone that is constantly traveling. I’m also best known for my love of bunnies, and cartwheeling after being over served.
Best story from behind the wood | My favorite moment in my bartending career was during the World Cup a few years ago (as I run a soccer bar)- during the national anthem an employee played the cello on the bar as we all sang together in unison. It was a pretty incredible moment, and I like to fondly remember the unity and community we had created especially during trying times in our world.
What do you collect? Vintage glass ware, records, weird trinkets and oddities, antiques and projects that I’ll only partially finish, liquor bottles, and industry swag. In summation, I’m a hoarder.
Favourite thing about your city? The small community & grass roots culture, and the general debauchery and weirdness.
What was the last photo that you took? The NYC skyline at night
Where was your last vacation? I had a workcation in Tulum, MX recently
Any claims to fame? Camp Runamok alum- and the Champ of Crown Royal Paintball! I am one of the founders and sit on the board of the USBG Buffalo Chapter. I am a proud founder of a group called Bar Biddies which brings together females in the industry to take over bars and raise money for charity. I sat on the board of Nickel City Drink, and have had the pleasure of partaking in pop ups and competitions both locally and nationally. Also, that cartwheel.
