The best part about the Tiki revival that has been happening for the last 4-5 years is that it has spread to everywhere. Not just sunny shores, but rainy towns and cities in the desert all have access to tropical drinks. One of the greatest tiki bars out there is Smuggler’s Cove in San Francisco. Owner Martin Cate is a rum and tiki expert and this year they won a Spirited Award for Best American Cocktail Bar. Smuggler’s is a bar that you must experience firsthand. (So get that trip to San Fran booked!)
