Favourite bar in the world | This tiny beach bar on Isla Mujeres. It didn’t have a name but a bartender would show up after lunch, open up and start making drinks for whoever would drop in and belly up to the bar, actually couldn’t belly up to the bar because the seats were hammocks and he would lean over to you over the bar and hand you cocktails.
Best known for | Going against the grain.
Best story from behind the wood | Probably re creating the steamy window scene of Titanic for a photo while working at The Mackenzie Room and then having Kate come in for dinner.

Where was your last vacation? Cuba
Any claims to fame? Fought in Aprons For Gloves Boxing in Vancouver on the first year, took the second off for a knee reconstruction. Turned down a fight on the second year. Fought on the third year. Didn’t fight the fourth year but did fight that year after Aprons to open up the gym we have been raising money for every year doing Aprons for Gloves to run a program for at risk youth and women of Downtown Eastside. I also do Filipino Martial Arts (Kali/Arnis/Escrima) and fought in Beat the Crap Out Of Cancer last year which was a full contact weapons fight and I also practice target whipping. I also modelled for a book called The Tattoo Project and was part of an art exhibition and had drinks with Lyle Tuttle.
