Best known for | Incredibly spirit forward drinks that go down almost too smooth. Oops. But really I guess in Mexico right now customers are really getting into complex bittered old fashioneds and apparently I don’t do so bad in that department.
Best story from behind the wood | I just asked my boyfriend, fellow bartender Carlos Soto, on our two year anniversary (at the end of Tales on Tour Mexico) to marry me while stirring a cocktail in front of a packed room and he said yes! That will always be my best story, second to how we met while I was making the same cocktail.
What do you collect? Gifs of animals using/misusing computers.
Favourite thing about your city? The cocktail culture is super vibrant and growing right now, it is exciting to be a part of it.
What was the last photo that you took? Probably of something silly our chihuahua Rocky did.
Where was your last vacation? Carlos and I went to Cabo San Lucas and had a few days of vacation before teaching a cocktail seminar.
Any claims to fame? Little known fame: I published a small art/theory text last fall.
Belt or suspenders? I wear a dress!
Fernet or Cynar? Oooh, I am really not good at these either or questions, depends on my mood..
