Favourite “at work” memory | Learning Greek from the other bartender I work with while teaching him English, when he first came over from Greece he didn’t t speak much english but I was typically able to understand what he was trying to say so I served as his personal translator at work and was eventually able to teach him to speak english fluently. At the same time I wanted to try to learn his language as well because Greece has always been a place I’ve wanted to visit so anytime he learned a new word / sentence in english he would then teach me how to say the same word / sentence in greek. We now will speak both Greek & English behind the bar which makes for some very entertaining situations. This has evolved into a great friendship, lots of laughs, and a business partnership, all which I am very grateful for.

What do you collect? First & foremost I collect tattoos, I have a pretty extensive collection of art that covers the top half of my body & I’m very proud of the collection I have so far, eventually I’d like to have my entire body covered from the neck down. I also collect Liquor bottles that remind me of important moments in my life be it from times I’ve created new cocktails / menus, Big events that I’ve bartended, or celebrations with the people closest to me.
Favourite thing about your city? I love how immersed in nature Sudbury is, no matter where you are in the city there is always a nearby place for hiking, nature walks, or a lake to dive into.
What was the last photo that you took? A picture of a cocktail I’m submitting to the Cointreau Margarita Challenge
Where is one place that you have never been but would like to travel to? Greece
Any claims to fame? I have a line in a movie on Netflix called “Indian Horse”. I can also do flair behind the bar. I placed top 10 in Canada at the Flor De Caña Sustainability Challenge.
