Best story from behind the wood | It’s hard to pick a best story, mostly because I don’t find them all to be that great. 🙂 that being said, I did enjoy the time early on in my career when I was serving and barbacking at the Drawing Room. While on site for the shooting of the Superman movie, a lot of the actors would come in for dinner. I got an earlier cut, so by the time I was having my shift drink and closing out my report, Laurence Fishburne was sitting down next to me at the bar. We chatted about our families, he showed me pictures of his kids, and after a few, we stood up by the host stand and made fun of drunk people walking passed us on the sidewalk with a couple of other employees. Nice guy.
What do you collect? Memories. I don’t really collect any one type of thing, but I will hold onto trash if it retains sentimental value.
Favourite thing about your city? On Chicago, my hometown, there’s nothing greater than the lakefront in summertime. You can bike 20 miles in either direction and see the skyline from every angle. It is gorgeous.
What was the last photo that you took? A landscape of the Grand Teton mountain range.
Where was your last vacation? I’m on it! Spending 3+ months on the road biking across the country.
Any claims to fame? Speed Rack Chicago winner 2015?
