Favourite “at work” memory | One time, one of my very reserved regular customers came in with a very provocative outfit one (which seemed out of usual character for this person) and when I did a double take to process the new look, I realized that she had her partner following behind her on a leash with collar. It was amazing, and a Wednesday night from what I recall. I love this industry and not knowing what to expect every time you walk into a shift. Btw, she kept her partner on the leash the entire time and was chained to some piping we have in the bar. Power move girl! 😂

What do you collect? Flower seeds. I grow flowers as my side hustle and I can’t seem to control myself when it comes to new flower varieties.
Favourite thing about your city? Maine is beyond unique. Our rugged rocky coastline drives people to visit. But then they learn about our nature focused culture. Our down to earth lifestyles that pay tribute to the simplicity of life. Working hard for everything we have, and centering the importance of sustainability along the way. Portland is at the heart of that. Portland is unique in the way that our food and cocktail programs are at such a high level and rooted in all things Maine. I love that my cocktails are appreciated for their structure, but also for their deep roots and inspiration from this place. Blending farming and cocktails, flavors from beginning to end.
What was the last photo that you took? Depends on which folder we’re talking about… farming? My current fields of flowers with my baby and dog. Bar? Our cotton candy goat cheese clarified cocktail on the menu.
Where is one place that you have never been but would like to travel to? I want to go to Greece. The lifestyle is just so attractive to me… someday soon!
Any claims to fame? I’ve got a lot of weird impressive skills (that are completely useless) that I’ve gained over the years. My personal favorite is being able to hold hands with my toes. I am known to sleep talk in Russian though (thanks to living in Russia with my family for half of my childhood)

Prosecco or Cava? Prosecco
Angostura or Peychaud’s? Angostura
Singapore or San Francisco? Singapore
Grapefruit or Pineapple? Grapefruit
