Favourite “at work” memory | One time, one of my very reserved regular customers came in with a very provocative outfit one (which seemed out of usual character for this person) and when I did a double take to process the new look, I realized that she had her partner following behind her on a leash with collar. It was amazing, and a Wednesday night from what I recall. I love this industry and not knowing what to expect every time you walk into a shift. Btw, she kept her partner on the leash the entire time and was chained to some piping we have in the bar. Power move girl! 😂

What do you collect? Flower seeds. I grow flowers as my side hustle and I can’t seem to control myself when it comes to new flower varieties.
Favourite thing about your city? There is such a strong sense of community and history here in Lewiston. I had never stayed in one area for more than 6 months (consider myself a wanderer) until I unexpectedly desired to grow roots here. A lot of old mill towns have been deserted and are desolate. Lewiston is very much alive and the people that are from here have held strong to their loyalties of family and history. I’ve learned that growing cities are lifted by the artists within them. The growing art scene here made me want to stick around to be a part of the resurrection of the city.
What was the last photo that you took? I can be cute and say I took a progress picture of my growing belly (currently growing a human) or I can be honest and say that it’s a picture of a recipe for salted & charred grapefruit oleo for my new spring cocktail menu.
Where is one place that you have never been but would like to travel to? I want to go to Greece. The lifestyle is just so attractive to me… someday soon!
Any claims to fame? I’ve got a lot of weird impressive skills (that are completely useless) that I’ve gained over the years. My personal favorite is being able to hold hands with my toes. I am known to sleep talk in Russian though (thanks to living in Russia with my family for half of my childhood)
