Favourite bar in the world | Sitting at the bar at L’Express in Montreal is what gave me an understanding of the hospitality I most enjoy. I also love visiting my friend Fred at his space THR bar in Montreal because it brings a lot of the things I enjoy together in one place. I am proud of him for following his passion and opening a space that is a bar, skate park and music venue. I can’t wait for the right opportunity to follow my heart and create a space with so much love in it.

Best story from behind the wood | I have run dry! They all sound a little curmudgeonly these days. I will update you when I can remember something positive, but right now it’s a lot of me being proud of how I handled challenging guests or difficult situations. I got much better at this as I grained experience behind wood.

What was the last photo that you took? A picture of soup that my friend left in my fridge for me to eat when I came home from 3 weeks in Japan.

Any claims to fame? I delivered a baby after work, early one morning. The city of Toronto awarded my friend and I with a humanitarian award.
