Toronto Tour Profile: Bar Raval

There are few bars and restaurants in the world that can meet their ambitions the way that Bar Raval (505 College Street) has. Open at 8am everyday for coffee, tapas style breakfast snacks and maybe a hair of the dog, until 2am where you will see a room of standing patrons enjoying canned boquerones and Spanish-influenced cocktails, Bar Raval feels alive.

Add to that a sense of decor that feels like you are inside a wood panelled M.C. Escher painting and staff that know their spirits, vermouth, sherry and cocktails like walking encyclopaedias and you have a true experience.

For the Bartender Atlas Toronto Tour Bar Hop on November 15th, Juliana Wolkowski and the team at Bar Raval is offering their Bike Thief. This delicious after-dinner cocktail is made of Wild Apple Brandy, Amaro Sibilla and Guerra Blanco Vermouth. There is even a dusting of apple sugar on the outside of the glass!
