Cocktail: Tetsuo | Bartender: Jermaine Carty

Aiming for a boozy nori-milkshake, this creation takes its name from your favourite anime, Akira. It’s a combination of some of my favourite ingredients. Rum and coconut milk make a lot of sense together. I love Lillet and its elegance. I love cardamom bitters because they’re dope and we all love nori. Its best friend is named Kaneda, made with Carpano and allspice bitters, minus the absinthe.

1 oz White Rum (Havana 3 Yr used here – works really well)
1 oz Lillet
1 oz Nori-infused coconut milk*
8 drops (roughly 2 dashes) Scrappy’s Cardamom Bitters
Absinthe rinse

Shake and double strain into absinthe rinsed rocks glass. Garnish with a piece of Nori.

*SoDelicious Unsweetened Organic used
**Optional – 0.25 Simple (or less)
