Cocktail: The Bee Line | Bartender: Sonny Wallace

I was recently exploring alternative garnish methods and thought to myself “Why not paint garnishes on the glass?”. So I visited an art supply store for the first time since getting my BFA in Art, and went to it!

Cocktail: The Bee Line | Bartender Atlas
1 oz. Brooklyn Gin
0.75 oz. Lemon Juice
0.5 oz. Pineapple/Lemon/Honey Syrup
2 Dashes Angostura Bitters
Topped with Mumm Napa Brut
Garnished with local honeycomb, and granulated honey painted “”Bee Line””.

Grab a paint brush, honey, and granulated honey. Use honey to paint the path you want granulated honey to adhere too, and roll glass on plate of granulated honey. Put aside. Add all ingredients except Brut into shaker tins and shake for 20 seconds. Strain into flute. Top with Brut, and garnish with fresh honeycomb.
