Cocktail: The Bel-View | Bartender: Kayla Douglas

Using my favourite vodka, Belvedere. I decided the spirit was my going to be my inspiration. The meaning behind belvedere is, in short form, a Fair View. I wanted a cocktail that reminds me of sitting on a deck on a beautiful spring day, something light, floral, and refreshing. With spring right around the corner it was the perfect choice and with everything made in house you can taste the quality.

In the 10 years of being in this industry I have competed in several competitions, helped create cocktail and drink lists for various bars, and have travelled to many breweries/ distilleries/ and vineyards. I stepped out of the scene when I decided to take a management position but have recently found my passion again working in a Tea room and cocktail bar infusing our teas with spirits has lead me back into the art of the cocktail.
