Cramming the flavours of a Christmas or Thanksgiving dinner into an Old Fashioned through the magic of cranberry sauce!
1.5oz/30ml American Rye
0.5oz/15ml Kavi Reserve Coffee Blended Whisky
0.75oz/22ml Cranberry Sauce Syrup*
3 dashes of Angostura Bitters
Combine all ingredients in mixing glass and stir until cold. Pour into rocks glass over ice and garnish with a skewered rosemary sprig and cranberry.
*Cranberry Sauce Syrup
1 340g bag of fresh cranberries
Peel and juice of one orange
1 6″ cinnamon stick
1 cup (240ml) water
300g brown sugar
4 rosemary sprigs
Add all ingredients and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and allow it to simmer for 5 mins.
