Cocktail: From Goa With Love | Bartender: Santanu Chanda

India is the largest producer of tamarind. The consumption of tamarind is widespread due to its central role in the cuisines of the Indian subcontinent, Southeast Asia. At the beginning of my bartending career just before going to the shift while walking through the magically glorious streets of Goan party lanes there were many tamarind Chutneys along with some chilli & salt from Goan Aunty’s one of most popular mouth watering Street Snack in India . From Goa With Love is the recreation of my memories of my times in Goan streets.

Cocktail: From Goa With Love | Bartender Atlas

40ml Ketel One Vodka
10ml Cherry Heering
30ml Fresh Pineapple Juice
2 bar spoons Tamarind Chutney
10ml Jaggery Cordial
2 leaves of Holy Basil
10ml Citric Acid
2 dash Salt Solutions

Add all in ingredients into a tin and shake. Double strain into glass of your choice. Add ice cube and then fill glass with crushed ice. Garnish with dried lime wheel, basil leaf and cherry.
