Did a blog segment for a friend regarding bartending and my love for cocktails, and created this drink for her website.
0.75 oz Gin
0.75 oz Green Chartreuse
0.75 oz Lemon Juice
0.375 oz Blue Curaçao
0.375 oz Lavender Simple Syrup*
1 egg white
Combine all ingredients into shaker tin without ice and shake vigorously for 1 minute. Add ice to tin and continue to shake until drink becomes frothy. Strain into chilled coupe glass. Garnish with lemon express and lavender sprig.
*Lavender Simple Syrup
¾ cup water
¾ cup sugar
2 tablespoons lavender
Using a small sauce pot, bring the sugar, water and lavender to a boil. Simmer until the sugar is completely dissolved. Let cool and strain out the lavender.
