Passion Fruit, Honey, Lemon, and Ginger are a delicious combination of flavours. When shaken up with Bacardi’s Cuatro Rum and a couple of dashes of Angostura bitters, you end up with one hell of a tasty tropical drink that can be enjoyed by everyone. The Raconteur cocktail is the offspring of two very popular modern-day classic cocktails. The first being the Porn Star Martini, (the UK’s number 1 best selling cocktail in 2018) a vodka cocktail that calls for Passion Fruit Purée, vanilla syrup and served with a sidecar of champagne. Created by Douglas Ankrah in 2003, and made famous at his former bar called Lab in Soho, London – a space that now houses Swift the bar I currently work at. The second being the Penicillin cocktail, a Scotch based cocktail that calls for honey, lemon, and fresh ginger syrup. Created by Sam Ross in New York, at Milk & Honey in 2003 that has become the most well-travelled modern cocktail in the last decade.
