During the pandemic, I tested positive for Covid-19. I stayed at home for a long time and I was constantly treated with many warm drinks, one of which was made from honey and dried roses with some herbs such as cinnamon, star anise and a little apple juice. After returning to work, I decided to use this drink by mixing it with whiskey, and the result was amazing.
3 CL Whiskey
2 CL Rose Honey Syrup*
1 Drop of Saline Solution
Add all ingredients into mixing glass with ample ice. Stir until well diluted. Double strain into a rocks glass over a large ice cube. Garnish with rosemary sprig, cinnamon stick, star anise and dehydrated orange.
*Rose Honey Syrup:
Add 200g of white sugar in 500ml of hot water. Stir until sugar is dissolved. Add 125g dried rose, 50g cinnamon stick, 20g star anise and 25g orange peel. Let cool. Strain liquid into sealable container and discard dried ingredients. Store leftover syrup in the fridge.
