Inspired by the episode of Netflix’s Chef’s Table profiling Christina Tosi of Milk Bar, this is one of those concept drinks that just came together perfectly and quickly became a cult classic at our bar. When people ask I tell them the name came to me in a fever dream.
1.5 oz Gosling’s Black Seal Rum
0.75 oz Amaro Averna
0.5 oz Demerara Sugar Syrup (2:1)
1 oz Cornflake Cereal Milk (See Milk Bars recipe)
2 dash The Apothecary’s Coffee & Cacao Bitters
0.25oz Egg White
Dry shake all ingredients in a shaker tin. Add ice, and shake vigorously until properly chilled and diluted. Double strain into a chilled coupe glass, or coffee/tea cup.
