Cocktail: It Takes A Village | Bartender: Sonny Wallace

I have recently launched a professional Instagram page. I continue to learn that creating content for this avenue of social media I am utilizing photographers, and models. The name of the cocktail plays to the concept that it takes a village to build something beautiful and grand. The main spirit, St. Augustine Distillery’s Gin, is a local, growing product that I love to support. The concept of the cocktail was to deliver a bright, citrus forward, gin cocktail with effervescent.

1.5 oz St. Augustine Distillery Gin
.75 oz lemon juice
.5 oz Rhum Clement Creole Shrub
.25 oz Bitter Truth Golden Falernum
5 drops of Bittermen’s Tiki Bitters
Topped with Champagne
Garnish – Lemon Twist

Chill coupe glass, Add all ingredients into shaker tin except champagne, shake for 30 seconds, strain into coupe glass, top with champagne, express oil from lemon twist over cocktail, wipe rim and stem of couple with lemon, cut a slit in the middle of lemon and garnish on rim of glass.
