Cocktail: The Forager | Bartender: Rachel Wright

Ungava Gin is created with unique botanicals from northern Quebec. The Forager is a nod to utilizing the ingredients around you, meant to highlight the floral and tannic components of the gin while placing a little of myself and the flavors found here in a Buffalo, NY.

2.0 oz Ungava Gin
0.75 oz fresh squeezed lemon juice
1 heaping bar spoon of orange marmalade
2 dash Peychaud’s bitters

Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker. Shaken until well chilled (15-25 seconds) strained with a hawthorn strainer and garnished with maple candied curry leaves*.

*Maple candied curry leaves preparation: Place one sprig with stems and 0.8 cup maple syrup into a medium sized pan and bring slowly to a boil. Let simmer until it begins to crystallize. Remove sprig and place on a piece of foil or other nonstick in the fridge to let set and cool.
