Are you a Bartender?

Are you a bartender? We are doing this for you!

And we want to have you listed here. Be a part of the Bartender Atlas community.

Our idea is to bring together bartenders from all over the world so that when you travel you will have a pal everywhere.

This website is for you to share what you are up to, where you are working and what cocktails you have recently created. The more bartenders we have here, the more fun we can have.

Throughout the year, we host events all around the world. And in between those times, we are busy creating original content geared towards you. We love interviewing people of the community and sharing their stories.

Are you a Lover of Cocktails?

Are you a lover of cocktails? So are we!

Because really, what is there not to love? Perhaps you are looking for a cocktail recipe to try to make at home on your own. Or perhaps you are planning a trip to some far off city and you are wondering what bars to visit while there.

But why we really want you here is to discover a new bartender or two. Whether they be in your own city or in one you are traveling to. Why? Because bartenders are great ambassadors to their city.

They are privy to all kinds of information that you will not see in any silly travel guide. These people know things.

So go on, take a gander, read their profiles. Maybe they like antique hunting  just like you which makes you a natural fit to cozy up on a stool at their bar and learn a thing or two (while drinking a delicious cocktail or two).

(And if you really feel like geeking out and learning more about the people in the industry, may we suggest you checking out the community!)

Cocktail: The Untitled Nobleman | Bartender: Soren Schepkowski

Born from two monsters in the cocktail world, the Toronto, and the Godfather; this lesser-known creation is the child — with a whole lot of Italian genes. The Untitled Nobleman is full bodied, nutty, herbal, and bitter with a long handsome finish.

The name comes from a status in the hierarchical “Italian Titles of Nobility.” The Untitled Nobleman, or Nobile, is a status given to one that is born from a family of Titled Nobles (in this case, two highly regarded and noble cocktails).

Cocktail: The Untitled Nobleman | Bartender Atlas

1.5oz 100% Rye
0.75oz Good Amaretto
0.5oz Fernet Branca
2 dashes Orange Angostura Bitters

Stir ingredients over ice and strain into Old Fashioned/Rocks glass over a large ice cube. Garnish with orange peel and a Amarena cherry.

Soren Schepkowski
Hey everyone, welcome to my bio! I’m a bartender who fell in love with hospitality and dropped out of college! I was an aspiring athletic therapist and exercise physiologist with the sight of attaining my medical license. It was always going to come down to picking one or the other and I chose passion.

I have worked in a ton of different styles of restaurants and have found that my skills and abilities work best in a world with a combination of cocktails and wine. I’m currently the assistant bar manager and social media coordinator for Wind Cries Mary in Victoria BC, and am constantly trying to improve and advocate for the community here. We are a restaurant of career-hospitality workers with a super dynamic and seasonally appropriate menu focussing on featuring our local ecosystems.
