Our idea is to bring together bartenders from all over the world so that when you travel you will have a pal everywhere.

This website is for you to share what you are up to, where you are working and what cocktails you have recently created. The more bartenders we have here, the more fun we can have.

Throughout the year, we host events all around the world. And in between those times, we are busy creating original content geared towards you. We love interviewing people of the community and sharing their stories.

Because really, what is there not to love? Perhaps you are looking for a cocktail recipe to try to make at home on your own. Or perhaps you are planning a trip to some far off city and you are wondering what bars to visit while there.

But why we really want you here is to discover a new bartender or two. Whether they be in your own city or in one you are traveling to. Why? Because bartenders are great ambassadors to their city.

They are privy to all kinds of information that you will not see in any silly travel guide. These people know things.

So go on, take a gander, read their profiles. Maybe they like antique hunting  just like you which makes you a natural fit to cozy up on a stool at their bar and learn a thing or two (while drinking a delicious cocktail or two).

Cocktail: Bitter Sour Lips | Bartender: Hemstone Onsare

Some drinks leave a sour taste in your mouth. And that can be a good thing. Drinking a citric acid-based drink at a fancy cocktail joint gave me a nervous feeling, as if Ashton Kutcher might lunge out of the freezer at any moment to announce I’d been punk’d by something made from the same stuff as powdered lemonade.

Cocktail: Bitter Sour Lips | Bartender Atlas

2 oz Vodka
0.75 oz Orange Liqueur
0.25 oz White Creme de Cacao
0.5 oz Strawberry juice

Combine all ingredients into your cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake vigorously for 12 seconds. Strain into a chilled Martini glass. Garnish with orange zest.

I am a mixologist by profession. From a very young age I loved fruit juices which were being blended by my dad who is a hotelier. I used to tell my dad that one day I will be a Barman but he convinced me to be a Chef instead. Most mixologists start their careers as bar backs, then climb the ranks to the bartender, before they get the honorary title of mixologist – the inventor of crazy drinks.

Any claims to fame? Having hospitality as my second career, I climbed through the ranks of the NYC scene and moved to DC to help open Silver Lyan, the first US based bar for the Mr. Lyan company. End of August will be my 4th anniversary.
