Best known for | Several people have said I make the best whisky sour they’ve ever had.
Favourite “at work” memory | Talking whisky and music with members of The Who when they stayed at the hotel I worked at. They were baffled someone my age knew who they were.
What do you collect? Skulls. My bar tools are in skull jars, I have skull lanterns, I have skull bitter droppers. It’s become a bit of a strange obsession.
Favourite thing about your city? The diversity, the people & what it brings to our dining and drinking scene. Everyone you meet can recommend some hidden gem you’ve never been before.
What was the last photo that you took? A photo of the incredible steak I was cooking for dinner.
Where is one place that you have never been but would like to travel to? Morocco
Any claims to fame? Maxx’s Kitchen at Hotel X currently features my cocktails on its Signature menu.
Prosecco or Cava? Great choices in both.
Angostura or Peychaud’s? Peychaud’s if there’s a choice, but there’s nothing wrong with good old Angostura.
Singapore or San Francisco? Singapore
