Favourite “at work” memory | It kind of sucked at the time but I was working at Craft Beer Market downtown during an Oilers reunion game and a raucous crew of retired hockey players including Wayne Gretzky and Mark Messier came in to drink all the Caesars we could make. Someone must have leaked a photo of Wayne on Twitter or something because the restaurant filled up with people asking for autographs. We were pretty understaffed that day and I was newer to bartending so I was pretty stressed and dropped a pint glass, Wayne leaned over the bar and yelled “YOU’RE CUT OFF!” At me with the volume of a freight train. Looking back it makes a pretty good story I think.
What do you collect? I’m not sure I’m much of a collector, I have lots of loose change from tips on my floor at home though.
Favourite thing about your city? How multicultural it is, also the wealth of cool restaurants, bars and great concert venues.
What was the last photo that you took? I took a picture of our market cocktail for social media yesterday!
