Best story from behind the wood | There are too many to count. One of my favourites was a regular guest thought I said ‘anal flower’ instead of ‘elderflower’. I obviously had to make a drink worthy of that name. (even though it never appeared on a menu) I’ve even had other people come in timidly asking for it since….its exclusive, and hilarious.
What do you collect? Wooden Scotch boxes
Favourite thing about your city? Absolutely everyone is thirsty for knowledge in the food and beverage industry. Right down to the consumers. It pushes me to be current and up to date.
What was the last photo that you took? Black Fox Distillery – had a beautiful booth at Wine Premier this year in Saskatoon. They just won best oaked Gin at the world gin awards 2017
Where was your last vacation? Costa Rica!
Any claims to fame? I currently am challenging WSET 3, and regularly volunteer sommelier services to fundraisers here in the city. It helps me practice, and build up a brand and clientele.
