Favourite “at work” memory | On the tenth anniversary of my old bar in Sydney the whole team spent the day together. We got dressed up to the nines had a bottle of champagne and took photos together before the band arrived and the party started. Standing on the main station of the Lobo for their tenth birthday in a tux (if you have ever been you know this is not the standard kit) slinging drinks to amazing guests was a great day.
What’s the most popular cocktail in your city? It would be tight between old fashioned and espresso martini’s. I’d have to lean toward the espresso martini
Favourite thing about your city | The seasons, the people and drinking and nightlife changes so much with the seasons here. So it really makes no two days ever the same.
Who is your favourite fictional bartender? It’s more of a fictional collective. All of those people behind the counter of any bar. Often nameless but their doing it chatting or listen or a little of both.
What was the last photo that you took? It was a screenshot of a song that I want to go back and listen to
Where is one place that you have never been but would like to travel to? South of France
Any claims to fame? I won the Beam Suntory idea lab back in 2020 when I was a wee lad. Really threw me for a spin and I had to learn fast. Then was lucky enough to go on a string of pop-ups through Australia with the Cloakroom
