One of the kindest people in this industry has to be Anna Sebastian. She is the founder of Anna Sebastian Hospitality, a global hospitality company that specialises in commercial and creative strategy in luxury beverage. She’s also the founder of Celebrate Her which is a non profit community to support and bring women together in the drinks industry. She also writes for Class Magazine and works with other non profit organisations.

Bartender Atlas: Where were you born?
Anna Sebastian: I was born in Wimbledon, London – the home of the tennis!
BA: What city do you work in?
AS: Currently based in London, but we travel every week with work all over the world from the Middle East to Hong Kong.
BA: Where do you go out to eat and drink on your days off?
AS: In London I love Dorian in Notting Hill and 10 cases for wine just off Covent Garden, it is such a great little spot to go with a brilliant selection of wines.
BA: What do you do outside of work on your days off?
AS: Obsessed with the gym, I do a mix of reformer pilates, YARD work outs and everything in between. Honestly though, I love what I do for work so it doesn’t really feel like work in the traditional sense. I love reading, writing, planning the next big idea. Obviously all made better with the people you love around you.
BA: What’s the best advice you’ve ever received?
AS: Just do it. Honestly there is no “good” time to take a chance on something, quit your job, start a new project, so you may as well just do it!
BA: What’s something you’re excited about?
AS: Everything. I get so excited by opportunities, meeting people, bringing people together. Life is pretty special and we have that choice to make every day exciting and joyful. Also really excited about all the new openings with bars including Montana in Hong Kong by Lorenzo and Simone and also the recent opening in Barcelona by Monica and Alex – Kyara.
