Favourite “at work” memory | Working at Irish Times as a doorman. A family came to watch a relative play in the band that evening. They had a young boy who couldn’t come in since it was a 19+ establishment. I made hot chocolates as we watched and listened through the glass patio while his family was inside. It made the boy and family’s evening.
What do you collect? Beer glasses, I love collecting glasses from breweries that really stand out to me.
Favourite thing about your city? I think Yellowknife is one of Canada’s best kept secrets specifically if you’re into the outdoors. Tourists are blown away upon arrival. From midnight summer suns to blazing green and pink auroras in the winter. There’s so much going on up here and so few know it.
What was the last photo that you took? Ironically a Raspberry Beer Margarita
Where is one place that you have never been but would like to travel to? Japan
Any claims to fame? Just completed 2 weeks of remote white water canoeing down the South Nahanni River in Nahanni National Park. Google/YouTube this place.
