Favourite Part of the Job | Cocktail Hour. NOT A PLUG. But everyday we do a happy hour of sorts. Negronis, Old Fashions, Daiquiris, Gin & Vodka Martinis and Aperol Spirits are on the menu. When that Bar and Lounge is full of guests crushing classics, it’s the best. Feels like a movie.
Favourite After Work Drink | IPA
Favourite at Home Drink | Right now, split base martinis on the rocks. Quick and easy, love to experiment with how different spirits interact with each other in the simplest form.
Favourite bar in the world | Amor y Amargo (NYC). When it was still in the East Village (now in Williamsburg).
Best known for | Looking stoned! I’ve been blessed with the squintiest eyes of all time. (see picture) Accused daily. Luckily there’s always a regular at the bar to back me up and set the record straight.
Favourite “at work” memory | Rolling out a new cocktail list. We had all 13 new drinks on the bar, the team straw testing, giving each other feedback. Two of our favourite regulars walked in, they joined the meeting. We got their perspective on all the new drinks, best cocktail list to date.
What do you collect? Glassware (of course)
Favourite thing about your city? Ramen!
What was the last photo that you took? A photo of a litre jug of orange blossom water, sent to the bar team.
Where is one place that you have never been but would like to travel to? Ireland
Any claims to fame? I’ve ripped two White Oxford Botton Downs in the armpit area from shaking a cocktail.
