Best story from behind the wood | A few years back I got to serve Pierce Brosnan at our tiny local bar. Just a hole in the wall in Halifax called Tom’s Little Havana. We had many regulars and one local drinking legend didn’t realize who was sitting beside him enjoying a pint. He spent the evening trying to place Pierce and couldn’t but he regaled him with his exploits for 3 hours slurring away. When I tried to steer him away from bothering him Pierce cut me off and let him finish his stories. He was having a great time soaking up the local flavour. We never told the regular who he talked that night until 2 months later when the movie he was shooting (Bag of Bones) was out. His reaction was priceless.
