Favourite “at work” memory | One of my favorite ‘at work’ memories was when my parents came to visit the States for the first time. They got to see what I really do and meet all the people I’ve connected with through my work—it was so special to share that part of my life with them and see their pride firsthand.
What’s the most popular cocktail in your city? Orange Crush
Favourite thing about your city | One of my favorite things about Cape May is the quiet in January and February — a peaceful reset before the busy season begins.
Who is your favourite fictional bartender? I don’t really have a favorite fictional bartender, but guests often tell me I remind them of Tom Cruise in Cocktail — Brian Flanagan. I’ll take that as a compliment.
What was the last photo that you took? The last photo I took was a cocktail-related one—one of my “failed” creations. I finally got it to look exactly how I wanted… but it tasted terrible! Hahaha
Where is one place that you have never been but would like to travel to? San Diego
Any claims to fame? Not on a national scale, but I definitely feel like a celebrity in my little town—I was even featured as ‘Bartender of the Week’ in the local Cape May County Herald! It’s more hometown fame than headline news, but it’s a fun recognition.
Aperitivo or Digestivo? Honestly, if they put a gun to my head, I guess I’d take the bullet! Otherwise, I usually go with Digestivo (Fernet)
